Radiation - zippity, zappity.
I saw Dr. Sood today. He confirmed I am doing well. I am still on normal, solid food. The cyst in my neck is cranky and as big as ever. However, the doc said that the course of treatment remains the same regardless.
Yesterday, I forgot to mention a craving I had. I wanted onion rings from BK. It's probably been over 20 years since I had anything at BK. Today I stopped on the way home to satisfy that craving. Then I decided I needed a bacon double cheeseburger which I knew would be challenging to get down (because my throat is sore). With the help of a lot of water, down the hatch it went as soon as I got home!
Because I am now on borrowed time as normal food goes, mom and I are going to try pizza tonight. Screw it. I've got "magic" (numbing) mouthwash so I'll be sure to gargle a load of that cuz pizza is going down my gullet, consequences be damned!
